The Benja Men

The Benja Men is led by Ben Arntz, an American singer-songwriter who lives in Berlin. Ben was described by James Fair (director upon the 72 project) as the sound that James wished he could make himself, and he has featured in nearly all of James’s films. A unique mixture of melodies and rhythms performed upon a variety of instruments results in Ben’s music being very hard to define. His music upon Watching & Waiting also included a couple of tracks which were co-written and performed with his brother Aaron Arntz, a notable musician in his own right.

His tracks appear throughout The Ballad of Des & Mo also, with two tracks hidden as supermarket music and the final closing credits playing out to ‘Wear My Brass Hat’ – the title track of a free downloadable album.
