Last night’s pub quiz marks the start of our crowd funding campaign, where we are hoping to raise £10,000 in 30 days to help produce ‘The Confusion of Tongues’. If you haven’t already visited the page, please do so, and help support it by contributing and sharing where ever possible. We’re using Kickstarter as our crowd funding platform – there are no half measures – we either make the funding or we don’t. Please don’t wait around to see if your money is going to make the difference… we can tell you now – IT DOES MAKE THE DIFFERENCE.
Thank you to everyone who came and supported us last night. We hope you had fun. A special thank you to John Tighe who quiz mastered wonderfully. The winners of the quiz were ‘Things Fall Apart’, wooden spooners were ‘The Undecided’, best team name went to ‘Shower Sharers’ (‘Quiz On My Face’ were gutted), and the Spotted Dog Pub Quiz prize went to ‘Salted Peanuts’, who had the dubious honour of having to wear moustaches for the rest of the night:
And so we reach the end of May. It has been another record month for site visitors so we are delighted. June is going to be tense as we push our crowd funding campaign and develop the planning further.
Thank you for all your support so far. Please help by buying tickets and perks as well as sharing the project with your family and friends.
James and the 72 team.
