The Point Of No Return

This time last year a personal tragedy meant that we pulled the plug on the 72 in Derry, Northern Ireland. It had to happen, and there are no regrets.

When the early bird tickets go on sale at 9am tomorrow morning, we’ve reached the point of no return in Birmingham. Whilst everything is obviously still possible, the reality is that the logistics of going back get harder once money has crossed the table. It’s a horrible adage, but ‘the show must go on’ from this point forward, whatever happens. Which in some respects is really scary, but it is our job to make it less scary and achievable, so that this date with destiny (Sunday 20th July 2014) doesn’t become a stress in the minds of all involved.
