The next ten days are a bit of a frenzy of film screenings and talks. On Wednesday I go back to my old school to talk about filmmaking, then on Saturday I’m giving a talk on ‘How To Make A Big Film On A Small Budget’ at the Worcestershire Film Festival. Later that day, they are screening my first feature ‘Peppermint’, which I shot in Worcester with Gabby Morton Jones back in 2005. How exciting.
Then, next Monday, I’m talking about the 72 Project to students back at the University of Worcester and screening ‘I’ve Got This Idea For A Film’ whilst Paul Hazell is also screening ‘Saharan Diary’ to other students too. So quite a lot to get on with…
In the meantime, Dom, Seyi, Joe and Rowan are working on ways to finance the 72 Project and have their first assessment next week as a presentation. A mixture of nerves and excitement all round.
And Birmingham opens it’s Christmas market this week; so everything is great.
