A new face joined the 72 Project recently. Brendan O’Neill will be producing in the build up to the film itself, with an emphasis on audience engagement. We’ve got big plans for this area so it’s a big job! On the one side it is the fun Facebook and Twitter stuff, on the other side it is analytics and data mining. I geek out on all that jazz, so I’ll be taking an interest too.
Brendan is an award winning Birmingham, UK based writer, producer and director with a range of projects in development – both live action and animation.
In 2011 he was selected for the regional Emerging Producer Mentoring Scheme run by Screen West Midlands. He was mentored by producer Rachel Robey (London to Brighton). He is currently participating in the 104 Films’ Generator scheme for emerging producers and creative entrepreneurs – just 1 of 8 people selected nationwide. In 2010 his Stickleback Production’s team won the 2 Weeks 2 Make It music video competition.
Welcome to the team Brendan!
